Now, our other non color of the week is one I think people avoid like the plague:
Nothing really says life will begin anew than wedding gown white, so how about restarting your early mornings (and your hopes, your dreams, your goals) with this “non-color!”
White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is also considered to be the color of perfection, but let’s quickly move on from that!
As opposed to black, white usually has a positive connotation, and in advertising, it’s used to present coolness, simplicity and cleanliness associated with snow. Charities are often associating themselves with angelic, pure white as are hospitals and doctors as it is often paired with a feeling of sterility. If you look around, you’ll see white is also often associated with low weight, low-fat food, and dairy products. (new beginnings and faith present again here)
Starting a winter morning in winter white may be risky, but hey, slap on a bib at lunch (and put another on your lap) and take a chance! Lift your spirits and set a new goal for yourself today in a crisp white outfit.
